2007, July 25 - Redway3d at SIGGRAPH-07 (San Diego, August 7-9) to demonstrate real-time ray tracing on the AMD booth #1102 |

Real-time watch This demonstration illustrates the RED engine real-time 3D rendering features, based on a model Redway3d received from TaylorJames. This 320K triangles model is displayed in high-resolution at 60 frames per second on high-end graphic hardware. It features multi-passes glowing effect and RED engine animation playback capabilities. |

Real-time, ray traced, Citroën C6 This application illustrates the RED engine real-time ray tracing capabilities, based on a model got from PSA Peugeot Citroën. The more than 1.5 M triangles C6 car model can be freely animated while RED interactively renders new frames. As nothing is pre-processed, the RED ray tracing technology can handle arbitrary model edition operations during rendering. |

Real-time Geographical Information Systems (GIS) visualization Real-time Geographical Information Systems (GIS) visualization GIS data are known to be really huge data sets. This demonstration shows how you can handle such amount of data with the RED engine. The earth model made available by the National Geographic Data Center (110 M triangles model) is dynamically streamed from the disk to the video card in real-time using LOD to maintain the best visual quality - navigation ease ratio. |

Real-time HDR rendering RED engine is not only an innovative ray tracing technology; it also offers high-end 3D real-time rendering features. This application demonstrates how you can handle 128bit HDR texture while keeping high frame rates. An Alfa-Romeo 147 model (from Dosch Design) is displayed using HDR environment reflections and tone-mapping on almost any 3D hardware. |
